How do I start my project?

Here at Dream Kitchens, we know the importance of being fully informed before you begin making decisions. Give us a call and make an appointment, one of our Designers will happily give you a showroom tour.

This is the most frequently asked questions we hear. People want to know how much they should spend on a kitchen remodel or if the builder’s allowance will give them what they want. Budgets for a remodel or new construction vary widely from project to project. With the proper help from a trained kitchen designer, all of your needs will be understood, and your budget can be clearly set.

Design services are free when the project is purchased from us.  We also offer a free consultation to get to know you, understand your needs and goals, and evaluate all the parameters of your project.  We charge a Retainer for the time we invest in creating and presenting our personalized Designs to you.  That Retainer is then fully applied to the cost of your cabinet purchase.

Architects have a specific job when working with a client. They are there to create an entire generalized space to meet your needs. Builders have a specific job as well; to turn into physical reality whatever the architect envisioned. Both are important to your project. A Kitchen Designer has the specific role of creating the most functional, aesthetically pleasing space for you and your family. The knowledgeable and experienced Designer takes your wish list, incorporates the way you and your family want to use the space, and creates a thoroughly well-thought-out kitchen.

Dream Kitchens provides cabinetry for any room, countertops, sinks, faucets, decorative hardware, bathroom plumbing products, kitchen and bath accessories, chairs, and barstools. We design and supply everything from countertops to tile floors.

Dream Kitchens Designers work with many area contractors and installers who can handle any size project from a simple kitchen remodel to brand new construction. They are craftsmen who we have worked with for many years. We know the quality of their work, and the superior service they offer. We are happy to recommend one of them to you, and we will work with any contractor you choose.

Countertops that are solid surface material such as Corian, Quartz, or granite must be templated (they make a physical mock-up of your countertop) and installed by the fabricator. Our Authorized Installers will install any other type of countertop which we provide for you.
