Having a separate granite on the island and the perimeter of the kitchen add an interesting element to the kitchen.
Plenty of cabinet storage for pots, pans, mixing bowls, tupperware, serving dishes, small appliances and anything else that the owner could need.
The designer was able to keep original backsplash and matched the cabinets and countertops to that.
Enlarging the island for four people to sit is great for morning breakfast or coffee or just talking to the cook without getting directly in their space.

In summary –This Burlington MA Kitchen Remodel went from a white falling apart kitchen to a true Dream Kitchen. The two toned cabinetry added a beautiful element along with the two toned granite. The wood hood also adds a great traditional element. Enlarging the island added not only additional storage but a great place for a morning meal or just to hang out.
